Getting your name out there

Make sure people are talking before you even open. A well designed website and window signage will generate interest and create awareness for your business

Website

It is essential to have your website up and running by the time you sign the lease on your building. As soon as you have signed your lease, place a very large sign in your window or banner on your store front giving the name of your centre and announcing that you will be opening soon. Make sure your website address can be prominently seen. A client of ours in the north of England put up a very large metallic sign with soft blue lighting behind it and was getting 700 hits a day on his website 3 months before he opened! He had to do very little other publicity and ran at 95% capacity seven days a week.

On your website be sure to give ample information about what floating is, the benefits of floating as well as your opening hours, prices, package deals (buy 10 floats get 20% off, for example), etc. There are many wonderful sites already in existence to give you an idea about what to say on yours. To find some of them, check out the links to all our clients’ centres by visiting our ‘where can I float?’ page of our website.

We can provide you, free of charge, high resolution photos to use on your website as well as for any documentation you may produce. There are a number of photos on our website which can be downloaded for these purposes.

We will feature your website on Floataway.com by putting a link from our site to yours. We would like to suggest that you do the same so as to raise the visibility of both our websites with the search engines.

Signage

As mentioned above, getting your sign up in your window or on your store front the day after you sign your lease is one of the best forms of publicity you can have. Do not take a cheap option on your signage! Your sign will be looked at as your calling card and it can be extremely beneficial as free publicity. You may not want to put your phone number on your store front from day one, but the website address is a must.

Photographs

We have a number of excellent photographs which can be downloaded at any time via our website (www.floataway.com) for use on your website or advertising. If you use our photographs, we ask that you also mention our name “Floataway” in the context of the pictures. Our name Floataway is a registered trade mark and our Tranquility pod design is a registered design belonging to us.
